Fantastic turn out today!

Thank you so much everyone for coming along to our protest meeting outside the pub today - a wide range of people there, from the vicar, to the local politicians, to mums and toddlers, pensioners, and the community as a whole.

Also there - Sam from BBC Radio Cambs - interviewing us all, and Duncan, the photographer from the Cambridge Evening News.

Here's the piece in the paper - and listen to the radio on Monday morning - about 8.15/8.30am.

If you've not come into the pub already to sign the petition, please do so - or go to our facebook page to download your own copy. 300 signatures so far and counting..

And any other comments about what the pub means to you - please add them to the first post on this blog.

Come along to support us! Protest demonstration

Friday 3pm outside the White Horse. Peaceful and cheerful protest. Let's get Greene King to see how much support the pub has, and how strong the community is.

We need your help!

The Waterbeach White Horse is the pub at the hub of our community. We need to let Greene King know how much we value our landlady - Julia Lemin (Jools) - and how much we feel she gives to the village and the groups in the village.

Please post comments about how you feel the pub is useful to you and your community/groups. All stories/comments welcome!

We have four weeks....
